Purchasing A Subscription 👑

Purchasing a Drosera subscription provides access to utilize the protocol for your automation, security, and alerting use-cases. Specifically, it allows you to deploy and update traps.

Currently, subscriptions are available for 3, 6, or 12 months. If you already have a subscription active and then purchase another, it will simply add that extra time onto your existing subscription.

How to Subscribe

The most straightforward way to subscribe is on the Drosera Trap Explorer. You can easily subscribe here. If you prefer or need to use a CLI based environment, the trapper CLI subscribe command has you covered.

Simply run:

drosera subscribe

You will be shown your existing subscription expiration date, as well as the current ETH balance of your account. You will also be prompted to select a desired duration for the subscription. The price is shown for each, denominated in ETH. Select your preferred duration using the up/down arrow keys and press enter or the space bar to make your selection.

Once you have selected your desired duration, you will be prompted to confirm your choice by entering ofc, or cancelling with N. A choice of ofc and pressing enter will sign and send off the subscribe transaction to Ethereum, including the specified ETH amount, so make sure you are sure of your choice.

After a successful transaction, the transaction hash and the link to the transaction on etherscan will be printed in the console for your convenience.
